DIAMOND MX beamline
I04 is one of three closely related macromolecular crystallography beamlines (the others being I02 and I03) for interpreting the structure of complex biological samples.
The typical working wavelength is 0.9795 Å (12.658 keV) but it is tuneable over the wavelength ranges 0.86 - 1.03 and 1.55 - 1.90Å. Features include:
- 20 x 20 micron beam at Se K edge delivering 2 x 1011 ph/s at the Se K edge
- Microfocus beam at discrete energies (8.0 x 2.0 microns at 13.1 keV and 7.15 keV)
- Rigaku ACTOR sample changer
- ADSC Q315r detector
- Vortex fluorescence detector
- Automated data processing
- Possibility to focus at detector (energy dependent function)
