Joint Research Activities (JRA)

Four JRA projects are focussed on each of the main TNA areas with the essential goal of
improving the quality and output of the respective TNA activity. However an important component
of each JRA is also to enhance links between different TNA WPs, most notably WP7 which aims to
develop an integrated environment for sample handling and characterisation for SAXS and MX,
with connections to upstream protein production and crystallisation. WP6 will also develop analysis
tools that bridge applications on both synchrotron radiation and future X-FEL facilities (WP6). In addition three of the selected JRAs include key components on enhancing data analysis (WP6,
WP7, WP8).
